Mingleego vs Tidio

Tidio's entry price is low and its next step up is steep. Mingleego has no steps: one balance, no conversation caps, and the AI is not an add-on you buy on top.

Where Tidio's pricing bends

The AI is sold separately

Lyro is an add-on from roughly $32.50–39 a month on lower tiers, and Flows another $24–29. A $59 Growth plan with both lands closer to $115–145 in September 2026 — the advertised number and the paid number are different numbers.

Conversations are capped by tier

Each tier includes a conversation allowance. Growth well used runs into its ceiling, and the ceiling is the thing that decides when you move up — not whether you want more features.

The step up is a cliff, not a step

Growth is $59. The next plan, Plus, starts at $749. There is nothing between them. A business that outgrows $59 does not need $749 of software — it needs $90 of software, and that option does not exist.

Channels beyond the widget are thinner

Tidio is a website-chat product first, with e-commerce depth around it. If the plan is one agent answering on Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and Slack as well, that is not the shape of the product.

No tiers means no cliff

Mingleego has no plans to outgrow. You top up a balance and it goes down as the agents work — a plain text answer costs a fraction of a cent, generating an image roughly ten times that. There is no conversation allowance to hit, no AI add-on to buy, and no version of the product you are locked out of until you spend twelve times more. The things Tidio meters by tier are simply not metered here: how many agents you build, how many bots you run, how many sites carry a widget, which GPT model each agent uses, whether it searches your documents or the web. All of it is on every account from the first day. New accounts start with $2 of credit and no card. Top-ups begin at $1, they are one-off rather than recurring, and unused credit stays on the account. Spending is itemised under Usage, per agent and per day, so growth shows up as a gradually larger number rather than as a sudden decision about a $749 plan.

What changes in practice

Growth costs proportionally

Twice the conversations cost about twice as much. There is no threshold where the price multiplies because you crossed an allowance.

Every model, no upgrade required

Pick the GPT model per agent — light for routine questions, heavier where the answer is worth more. Not a feature gated behind a tier.

Seven channels, one agent

Website widget, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Discord and Slack share the same agent and the same knowledge, billed from the same balance.

One line of code for the widget

The website widget is a single script tag, loaded asynchronously so it does not affect your page's largest contentful paint. React, Vue, Angular or any site that allows a custom script.

Questions worth asking before switching

Two cases, honestly. First, if you want a genuinely free forever tier — Tidio has one, Mingleego has $2 of starting credit, which is a trial rather than a free plan. Second, if you run a Shopify store and want deep, prebuilt e-commerce flows out of the box; Tidio has spent years on exactly that ecosystem.
